Peterson signs with Top Rank make $$$$. Do you remember when Khan left Warren to join Golden Boy again for $$$$. Warren was going on and on about having a fight fixed with Bradley but Khan signed with GBP. By your definition Khan signed up with GBP to avoid Bradley. Which is bollox he signed to further his career which is what Peterson is doing. The only difference is Khan was already in money when he moved and Peterson has only had one big payday.
If Peterson beats Marquez which he won't he will offer Khan a rematch because there won't be a more financially viable fight out there but it won't be on Team Khan's terms. Which Team Khan won't like so they may refuse it for financial reasons. If that happens are you going to call Khan a duck job?

Feelings about Khan Peterson II aside, do you think Marquez Peterson is a good fight? I think it is, but I feel like the one who actually is getting screwed in this whole Mayweather-Pacquiao BS is Marquez.

Marquez deserves another shot at Pacquiao, and frankly would probably get it if Mayweather had gone to jail instead of now June 1. He'll make significantly less money against Peterson on a PPV no one will buy since they'll be done paying for Mayweather-Alvarez and Pacquiao Bradley the months before.

Sure he might make a decent amount of money, but there's no way that he makes more in this fight than he would against Pacquiao for a fourth time. I think I could say the same for Peterson too, but I'm not sure. I think Peterson could make a bigger guarantee vs Khan again, but not completely sure about that.

All the BS aside, this wouldn't be a bad fight. It just shouldn't be on PPV, which it would be.
