    Freaking awesome!

In my experience, most boxers are pretty cool guys. Of course, you can't say that about all of them; but, on the whole, most fighters are nice dudes.

Gamboa, just like Rios...either one of them could be in the top 10PFP some day. The old farts Mayweather, Marquez, and Pac have to leave some day...maybe Rigo, Dullorme, Dell Valle could be there as well. Paris, Alvarado, and that french 140 pounder who was on Showtime late last year too.

This seems like a big jump for yuri, but it really isn't.

Yuri fought a bunch a 130lbs and only moved down because of the bigger names at FW.

If anything this is just Yuri moving up 1 weight class from where he typically would be fighting.

There just hasn't been any talent at 130 since Pac and Marquez last fought there. When both JMM and MP moved up to higher weight classes, combined with Lopez and others moving to 126.....it just made sense for Yuri to campaign at FW in hopes of landing a big fight.

I agree with Salas its a huge jump up in weight for Gamboa who isn't a big fw to begin with. I can't image that he walks around much heavier then 135.
oh but he does. gamboa's certainly been clocked at around 160lbs and looking fairly solid at it.

yeah, i dunno if the 160 was unusual or not but he looked alright. there's some pictures around where you'll see he looks pretty big but solid, not able to say what weight but pretty good and strong.
