Also, in regards to Martinez vs May or Pac, please tell me how it is ****** for a fighter to ask for a fight at a weight that both fighters have fought before?

Tell me, when has Sergio fought at 168, or 164 for that matter?

Bottom line: Sergio agreed to fight Ward or Hopkins at 160 or slight catchweight under 168. Where is Ward or Hopkins demanding this fight?
Never said Sergio was avoiding him. I just said that if Sergio thinks Manny and Floyd are avoiding him in not pushing for the fight, than it's like saying he's avoiding 168 lb fighters.

And he has no ground to stand on as well because he straight up refused to fight Pirog, in what would have gave him a $3 million dollar guarantee right???

I like Sergio, but instead of dreaming big against Welterweights, clean out 160 and fight 3 times a year. Than, move on to 168 lb guys. He could make a legacy as an ATG if he did that. Yes, Sergio is 36, but he still looks as good and quick as he ever has.

If he can't get big fights with Mayweather or Pacquiao, and Chavez continues to avoid him, than fight Macklin, Pirog, and Lee/Quillin this year, or even Erislandy Lara said he'd be willing to fight Sergio at 160 lbs. Than, move on to 168 lb guys in 2013 when he'd be 37-38 and go for big fights with Ward, Bute, Dirrell, etc.

If Sergio did that, I'd consider him an ATG.

And you're the guy talking s**t first to me anyways, calling me dumb. People on NSB are too quick to say "you're dumb, you're ******, etc". You don't even know me. We're expressing boxing opinions, nothing else.

Oh sure, Martinez should definitely have fought Pirog in Siberia. It's not like he's never been robbed on the cards before, or had a bias Ref *** him over for points.

Let's be real, the only way Martinez wins against Golden-Boy-Russia is by death in the ring.

Oh and to the TS, Erislandy Lara, a Junior Middleweight, called Pirog out. Where you at Pirog?

Lara also said he'd be willing to fight Martinez, as well as Pirog.

All I am saying is that Sergio can't have it both ways and the majority of people out there, with the exception of hardcore Sergio fans of course, feel the same way.

Are you saying Martinez was robbed against Paul Williams the first time???

Ugh, what do you mean "Both Ways"????

Sergio is willing to come down in weight to fight May and Pac.
If Ward or Hop come down to ANY weight-class that Sergio has fought at before, he'll fight them.

and yeah Judge Pierre Benoist's 119/110 is a Robbery.

It wasn't a UD like that card indicated, but I thought Williams won that fight by a round or two. Anyways, Sergio KO'd Williams in the rematch, so that was avenged.

I mean Sergio says he's too small for Super Middleweights, he has his promoter have BOTH said that, but than call out 2 guys that are really small Welterweights. You don't think that's both ways???

It would be like Gamboa calling out Moreno or Mares, but than saying he's too small for someone like Broner or Rios, the 2 divisions that are above where Gamboa was at 126.

I like Sergio, but if he doesn't get Manny or Floyd, who have no obligation to figth him, than make your legacy somewhere else. I mean, even if he beat Floyd at 154 lbs, the Sergio haters won't give him any credit. They'll just say he beat Floyd a 154 lbs, where Floyd is small as hell. Only Floyd would get any credit from that fight. I'd give Sergio mad props if he beat Floyd at 154, a lot of people won't.

Like I said, if he doesn't get those fights, make your legacy elsewhere. Fight Macklin, Pirog, Quillin, and Lee to clean out 160. Than, move on to Ward, Bute, Dirrell, at 168 in 2013. If Sergio beat those people, I'd consider him an ATG for sure.

He's not asking anyone to come up to 160. He's offering to fight 3 pounds above May's and Pac's weight class at 150. (A division where both Mayweather and Pacquiao have held titles at.) And he's doing the same with Ward. He's willing to fight 4 pounds above his own weight class. He's applying the same standard on himself that he is on others.

Ward would crush him pretty summarily.
