Martinez shouldn't fight over 160 he doesn't have the frame he looks bulky at 160 almost has a body builder type physique I cant see him being at his best above that weight.

This would be embarrassingly one sided in favor of Ward.

Ward by UD. That's why Sergio looks like a moron at times, he calls out guys that 10-15 lbs smaller than him, yet won't fight Andre Ward, who's just one division above him. And people better not say Sergio said he'd fight Ward. All he said was "Yeah, that'd be a good fight".

Martinez-Ward at 164/165 would be a great fight.

Martinez said time and time again that if Ward or Hopkins came down to 160, he would definitely fight them, you know, kind of like the same thing he's trying to do with Mayweather and Pac. He's not calling them out, he's offering to drop down to their weight to fight them.

          So.... you're dumb.

I'm dumb???? You want Ward to drop to 160 and fight Sergio??? That's dumb. Andre has said over and over that he'd love to fight Sergio at a 164/165 CW. You can't expect Ward to drop 8 lbs to fight Sergio, who wouldn't be dropping any weight. So.....you're dumb.

I like Sergio, but he looks like a moron calling out guys 2 division below him, yet unwilling to fight people one division above him. He and his camp even said that if Froch beats Ward, he'd consider fighting him at a CW. But, Ward whooped Froch, and you hear nothing from Sergio except "Yeah, that'd be a good fight".

Not a good comparison Sergio is a 36 year old guy he wants a big payday you cant hold that against the guy. Ward doesn't bring the kind of pay cheque to the table that Sergio is looking for even after his super six victory's.

Obviously the two smaller guys he wants to fight are both the biggest draws in boxing and also have both won belts in the JMW division Sergio has never won a belt at 168 its not like he moved up to that weight fought a weaker title holder or fought for a vacant title then moved back down which is essentially what Manny and Floyd did.

At the time, that weak title holder in Oscar was the biggest payday for Floyd and made him a mega-star. And people wanted Mayweather-De La Hoya at 154 going into that fight.

All I am trying to get across is that Sergio can't expect Welterweights to fight him at a CW, if he's unwilling to fight Super Middleweights at a CW. I don't expect Sergio to fight Ward at 168 lbs, but what's wrong with 164-165??? If Sergio thinks Manny and Floyd are avoiding him, than he is without a doubt avoiding Andre Ward right???

He can't have it both ways, and he can't b*tch about people avoiding him or something, when he turned down a fight with Dmitry Pirog, which would have been his biggest payday. Regardless if the fight was in Europe or not, Sergio could KO Pirog and I think he would.

If Sergio wants to fight Welterweights, than he better expect to hear it when he doesn't have interest in fighting the best SMW at 164/165.

Again, you're being ridiculous implying that Martinez has been ducking Ward even though the Super Six barely finished a month ago and we don't even know when Ward's hand will recover, not to mention Martinez already has a fight coming up in March.

“I think that’s a great fight,” Goossen said of a matchup with Martinez. “We’ve had conversations on that, but nothing concrete. Just recently we’ve been focused on getting the cast off of Andre, and so every big fight we’re sifting through, and in 2012 we expect bigger things.”

"He's another great that I'd love to fight, but right now, I'm only thinking about Mach 17, however, I'd meet him at 164 for it.

                  Why not. I want P4P fights. Ward is a top5 P4P.

                    You are dumb man.

You're pushing this "Sergio avoiding Ward" agenda. Where's Ward calling for this fight (except once or twice) and each time he does Sergio says he's willing. How is that avoiding??

Also, in regards to Martinez vs May or Pac, please tell me how it is ****** for a fighter to ask for a fight at a weight that both fighters have fought before?

Tell me, when has Sergio fought at 168, or 164 for that matter?

Bottom line: Sergio agreed to fight Ward or Hopkins at 160 or slight catchweight under 168. Where is Ward or Hopkins demanding this fight?

Hope it happens. I hope Sergio really would go to 164/165 for it. Won't be any dumb promoters like Arum to block it.
