        Williams bodyshots had Lara hurting...

He was tugging at his trunks like he had pubic lice..

All Lara showed in the Williams fight is HE'S SOFT TO THE BODY...

          Lara is a solid fighter...nothing more....nothing less..
Lara beat by Williams? That actually never happened, I don't care what the record say, those judges got suspended and the fight was a clear win for Lara.

I'm not suggesting people are "scared." What I'm saying is that everyone saw Lara clearly beat a high quality fighter. And Erislandy, being a low return fighter, is apparently now viewed as being "too much risk, too little reward."

Lara showed more than his being "soft to the body" in the Williams fight. By your own admission, Erislandy demonstrated that he's a solid fighter. Beyond that, Lara demonstrated heart (by finishing strong with that hematoma sprouting out of his head), skills and stamina (by easily finishing an active, twelve rounder).

I think Erislandy is good, but not great. His problem is that his potential opponents think the same thing. Except maybe they think he's too good....
