Personally, i think this is a very viable ploy for Pacquiao as I'm certain he'd take a clear beating from Mayweather. If the TopRank match makers know whats good for Manny, they certainly know what isn't. After a loss to Mayweather he just wouldn't be able to generate the kind of money and attraction he once could.

My hopes of this fight have pretty much vanished.
Personally, I think a loss will have a bigger impact on Floyd. Pac has losses on his record already. People who tune in to watch him fight do so due to his entertaining style. Floyd on the other hand has his undefeated record to credit for his marketibility. People tune in to see who's going to be the one to give him his first loss. Once that 0 goes, so will a big chunk of his marketibility.

I agree with that, as there is probably a fair chunk of "fans" that pay just to see him lose. Having said that, TopRank knows whats good for Manny, whats good for Manny is good for Bob Arum. I don't blame them if they want nothing to do with Floyd and I'm not trolling here. Every boxer has a punchers chance but I'd bet a whole lot that Mayweather makes Manny look silly.

Pacs agreed testing so why wont the fight happen, Floyds run out of excuses.? Pac overcame the hurdle of testing and now Floyds put another unnecesarry barrier up?
Floyds seems to be having all the benefits, i want to know what benefits will Pac have? Willhe be able to choose ring size, gloves size and ref even.?

Although I'm a fan of Pac, at this point I really don't care who wins. I just want them to both get it on and erase the question of who's the better fighter. As a fan I want closure on this issue.

Leit be anyone other than Cortez. Pull Mills Lane out of retirement b4 you let Cortez ref a fight of this magnitude.

Peterson knows tweety bird will duck MannyPac for years. Ask Freddie Roach. Even tweety bird's uncle Jeff Mayweather ratted him out. "Floyd will fight Pacquiao in 2013."

                    Bump.

Yeah, George Peterson definitely knew something way back then when this interview took place. Its 3yrs later and Floyd is still creating roadblocks. Hmmmmmm......
