of course it's Mosley, it's always been Mosley.

a month or so ago it was reported that Alvarez vs Mosley was close to being a done deal. plus Mosley fits the MO for an Alvarez opponent. he is smaller than Alvarez and he's over the hill. easy fight for the kid.

Mayweather vs Alvarez was never serious because of weight.

Mayweather wanted Martinez at a catchweight of 150 with a maximum weight of 164 on the night of the fight. I'm mentioning this because Alvarez rehydrates to around 170 on fight night.

Mayweather can demand things like that from Martinez because isn't a big name but Alvarez is. GBP knows Alvarez is the future of their company and won't risk him with silly a$$ catchweights no matter what they say.



Cotto fight could be made but I doubt it. Cotto won't will be willing to leave Top Rank because of a Pacquiao rematch. I know Cotto wont go down in weight but he'll change his mind once Arum sweetens the deal.

mayweather has to make a decision now. he won't fight martinez, cotto is too shot for him, according to his fans, i don't think he would rematch ortiz, (he hates rematches). berto, if he wins, might be a good fight. but since gbp is always in the picture when floyd fights, schaefer would likely insist on canelo.

mayweather vs canelo, may 5th, cinco de mayo, which makes sense - it's a mexican holiday, which is the real purpose in the first place.
