I know Angulo gotta gain his confidence back and regain his step. What better way than beat the man u beat couple years ago who just came off a nice win. Its not like the first fight was competitive. Gab has the chance to avenge a lost and show he's better now/

The first fight wasent competitive, Angulo mopped him up. It would be a great comeback fight for Angulo to prove he aint lose a step or show Gab has become a better boxer.
U rather Angulo go against a journey man than Gab? Angulo treated Gab as a journey man the first bout.
The *** u so scared of man?
U make it out as the fight is dangerous for Angulo yet claim Gab is a nobody.
Angulo is not gonna gain nothing fighting a journeyman with no power, he WILL gain something if he beat the brakes off Gab once again who just came off his biggest win, blown up WW or not.
sorry man, you dont get it
angulo has something to gain and money to make down the road
compared to the rest of his career (which you are risking against a puncher like rosado,) rosado is insignificant
his first fight back should be a tune up, and it shouldnt be against a puncher
he was just knocked the hell out
brutally
you string a couple of those together and your career is done
do you get that?
fights arent made to please fans
you'd have a vastly inferior product if you matched fighters using your logic
they'd all get knocked out and come back against punchers and get knocked out again and their careers would be over.Last edited by New England; 01-29-2012, 11:36 AM.Comment

So now u think Gab will knocked Angulo out? Couple posts down u was acting like Angulo would kill Rosado's momentum.
"rosado's momentum would probably be squashed
and angulo would be going in his first fight out against a puncher against whom he has nothing to prove"
It sounded like earlier Angulo would beat Rosado now ur scared he'll get knocked out. Gab's smoke and mirrors of a win against a blown up WW is a great look on paper and a shot for Anuglo to be back in the race.
I rather see Delvin vs. Rosado but my logic is great. It only would work in this case since Angulo beat the **** out of Gab the first bout, theres history behind this match up im not telling u to put Angulo back up against Kirkland for his comeback fight. stop being so soft, I bet ur a sorry ass Pats fan as wellComment

Angulo needs some tomato cans. His first decent fight should be vs someone like Alfonso Gomez or something.
Hopefully it gets his confidence back and then he can face some punchers.Comment

dude what dont you understand?
rosado is a puncher. a good one
he can end angulo's career. he got his ass handed to him in the first fight, but the guy can still ****.
thaty's the entire point of the argument, and i've made it explicit (meaning i wrote it down)
in my first posts i outlined that his tendencies and talents as a puncher make him too risky for the reward (all this credit you seem to think he's going to get for a rematch with gabe rosado)
making it a horrible comeback fight. lets match him up with a puncher that he's already knocked out.
that way he can undertake some serious risk (there is always risk when you fight a puncher, especially if you are alfredo angulo and you take punishment in victory and are essentially a pure aggressor) without having **** to gain
go ahead and insult my membership in the patriots fan base
you're getting petty
and i'll be watching them in the superbowl next weekend
you seriously think it's a sound practice to match him with a puncher in his comeback fight?
do you even watch boxing?
keep talking, man
you really know your stuffComment

Im a Dolphins fan and naw I dont watch boxing, I stumbled across here trying to find a UFC forum.
we'll agree to disagree, I know the method of building up a contender who jsut underwent a Lost, im a impatient man tho. on paper the fight looks good to me in real life it wont work put im i na thread where Rosado is calling out Canelo so I thought a lil fantasy on my part wont hurt either.Comment
