One, Kirkland is with GB. They dont do that much business together. After he feed Tony to Chavez Jr, he might repay GB for PDL vs Gamboa and then a fight can happen. BTW, there is always the need for some guys to bring up Cotto and discredit him even when the topic is not related. Sad, very sad indeed.

thats because he has nothing to lose and everything to gain. After he beat Cotto, I didnt see him being the tough guy and running after the Williams rematch. People hype him way too much. Anyone fights guys after they lose because its the only way to get back on top but when you are on top, you see how they change on what guys they will fight. If Margarito had beat Cotto this time then I bet he would go nowhere near Kirkland

Margarito vs Mayorga makes alot more sense to me. Just for the pure entertainment of it and the fact that both are coming off of loses.

I will say this, Margarito right now with one eye would fight someone like Kirkland before Cotto would.

The same can be said that "Margarito with one eye" will fight Kirkland before Pacquiao, Mayweather or even Alvarez does too. So I seriously dont see the point to bringing up Cotto alone unless you really dont like the guy.
