Why would Mayweather ask JMM to fight at 144 and not make weight intentionally? Make Hatton go to 147..lol

Hatton had been at 147 before and I agree re: Marquez as I thought it was a joke he had to move up. Granted, Mayweather hadn't fought in two years.

But umm...I take it your complete avoidance of the question means you can't answer? He hasn't fought a legit top welter since Jan. 2010; the joke that is Joshua Clottey.

He fears Floyd like the plague. He knows Martinez will wipe the floor with him even at 150 pound catchweight, he isn't in a position to force Cotto to kill himself to make a ridiculous catchweight that favors him, and he knows Canelo would knock him out with a body shot.

The reasons for him ducking who people want him to see is simple - because he and his team know he will lose. If they can't gain some kind of ridiculous advantage that will "surely" guarantee a win, they will not take the fight.

And that is the reason why they chose Bradley. He is easy to control, they can pay him squat, he can not request testing so Manny will without a doubt be on juice, and he isn't very good to begin with so it's almost a guaranteed victory.

Enjoy paying to watch your idol face off against another half ass opponent, "PAC-BOY."
im just basing the reaction on this thread. Martinez, Cotto, and Canelo wont happen unless its at 147 and Floyd wont happen imo because hes scared of losing that 0 on his record.
Oh please...Nobody fears Floyd. lol hes no devastating fighter. Ill stop there because this isnt a Floyd Manny thread. Martinez @ 150...couldnt say on that one. Cotto..lol hes beats that ass before...bad! Canelo yep wont happen unless its @147. None of these fights will happen.
Do you play chess? If so then you know its a game of strategy. You look for the advantage and then the chance comes in that it will work or not. Dont make it sound like they are cheating and others are forced into fighting Manny! Floyd has came up with more excuses than anyone not to fight Manny! No fighter has requested more ridiculous demands.
The reason why they choose Bradley is because hes ranked #1 all the way around. lol For a reason! Even by Ring! Calling Bradley a half ass fighter is hilarious and also ridiculous

He doesn't have to mimick JMM, he just has to be smart and train to a specific game plan based on see some of the things that worked well for JMM. I don't see why he coould not add some wrinkles to his game with the proper training camp and game plan. Otherwise he'll get Hatton'd

Four straight fights without a legit opponent, avoiding the best available, isn't a long time? You're not a boxing fan, are you?
