Still can't figure out why if the money is better in europe, as you euros say, then why the f do they aspire to come here?Comment

2: because Kessler is WBC champion emeritus.
3: to return the favour that Kessler gave by travelling when he was champion.
4: because of the foul play in their first fight as is acknowledged by Ward himself.
5: to earn a Big purse.
Is that reasons enough for you?Comment

As for your last question well Moneywise euros does not need America Per se, but theres a recognition and legacy factor in play.Comment

1: Because Ward wouldn't be WBC champion if Kessler didnt vacate when he didnt have to.

I care less about live gate, it's like saying japanese baseball players come here only for legacy. The kansas city royals draw 4,000 the tokyo giants draw 40,000. Why would a japanese star come here? Because despite the live gate everything else is bigger in this country. He can make way more here in the long run. The american market is where it's atComment

these reponses are getting mixed because I am debating 3 of you at a time.
Your telling me that for an american tv networks tournament, that mikkel kessler was the draw? PLEASE. 6 people in the states had ever heard of him and that was in a loss.
I say ward shouldn't go to denmark because the money in america is much better for andre ward.
Plus why you euro's always whining when the biggest disadvantage in the tourney went to the AMERICAN who went to europe. Funny that that fight doesn't get brought up when complaining about the super 6 schedule.
The money was better for Kessler in Denmark but he went to Oakland. What part of that dont you understand? No one is whining, just explaining Kessler's logic here.Comment

I really don't want to see a rematch. But if it would shut up the whining about the first fight, I'd love it. I know it won't though. The reality of the matter is that Kessler is never going to beat Ward. He will always be dominated, period.Comment
