He doesnt look huge in the last pic. He looks soft, not really huge/ballooned/fat. Makes sense, since he's obviously not going to cut weight yet. He does look unusually soft but his body was probably borderline failure. He probably went through hell earlier that day or is in the process of going through hell. With his stamina, he must put in the work and his face shows lol. Reminded me of those old Hagler or Duran training pics where they'd look like crap and crazed looking.


Cotto is ducking Martinez though but can you blame him? Cotto would get KOd and probabably be put into retirement for a decent ammount of money. Or he could just get outclassed and maybe TKOd by Floyd and get paid the big bucks, and THEN fight Martinez for credibility.

Martinez took the Williams fight on short notice but still looked very good physically, My feeling is that now that he controls his owns destiny in terms of when he fights he might let himself go a bit more between camps. Could be a risk at his age, it must be getting harder and harder to work himself back into fighting shape.

It's probably just a small layer of fat/lighting/bad pic. His muscles have clearly not degraded judging by the pics where he is in the midst of training and we're still practically a month and a half or so away from fight night. He probably has to put on some fat when he gets the muscle to fill into 160 then burns it in a cutting phase the last couple weeks.

Thank your! I am still baffled how people think Floyd ducked Cotto. Never saw him as a threat. Cotto would have got a mix of Phillip Ndou and Arturo Gatti.

stop ****riding. Cotto Mayweather was the fight to make in 08, and it wouldve been a very interesting fight with Floyd probably coming out the winner. That fight wouldve been better that anything floyd has done in years.
How are you going to even mention Cotto with ndou and gatti
