Martinez can not make 147 pounds, so he is not a welterweight. We do not even know if he could make 154 pounds right now.

Im not making excuses for Cotto not to fight him, I wich teh fight gets sign at 154, so Cotto can expose this hype job.

I hear what you're saying, but it's very hard to judge Maravilla's outer appearance, unlike most other fighters, even when he's 7 weeks out from a fight. I remember him looking drained before the bell and even in training for PWill II, but then goes out and chops down the "tree" inside of 2 rounds. I think these current pictures have more to do with Sergio wanting to stay around the 160 mark when usually he's in the mid to upper 170's some 6 to 8 weeks away from a March fight date. I honestly have no idea why Sergio sometimes seems to look drained and kinda "drugged" out like you stated, but this is nothing really new for him. Maybe he still trains on a world class cycling level which was his 1st love even before boxing; and that may explain part of the drained appearance he shows from time to time.

Once Sergio disposes of Matthew "unheard of" Macklin then hopefully Floyd finally except Sergio Martinez's challenge and fights Martinez at 54 or above. The martinez-floyd could get done after floydie gets done whooping on cotto's ass. Also anyone that thinks Cotto could beat Martinez at 54 or above must be on some crazy kind of medication. Cotto still doesn't have a clear cut win over margarito or a real significant win at 54 or and his most clear cut win at 47 against b fighter or above was Carlos Quintana. Cotto gets smashed against bundrage, canelo, Paul Williams Carlos Molina, James Kirkland vanes martisooas and so on and so fourth !!!!!!!!!!

Also for fight night weight Victor Ortiz came in at 165 for a WW fight, while Sergio came in at 164 for a MW fight. you tell me?

Thank you! I am still baffled how people think Floyd ducked Cotto. Never saw him as a threat. Cotto would have got a mix of Phillip Ndou and Arturo Gatti.
