i dun see this as that far off a possiblilty,

because if u think about it, how much will he make vs fighters such as martinez, alvarez ?? he wud make way more money vs marquez we all know that and it will be easier of the fight, risk vs reward ratio tells us marquez makes way more sense than fighting the other two guys. ya? think about it!

another thing, u guys really think floyd wud entertain the idea of fighting martinez or alvarez at 154? come on, ellerbe said they aint into no catchweight ****. i know floyd contradicted it by saying he wants martinez at 150 but martinez is fighting in march, he's gonna go straight into another fight in may the 5th? two months after fighting in march?

yeh i know floyd fought at 154 before but that was different, that vs goldenboy, dela hoya called all the shots and the payday and risk vs reward was way too gud for floyd to turn that **** down.

think about it guys??? who else he gonna fight? throw sum names out for me? bradley??? naaa....! he's with top rank? right? so tell me who the fack else???

Floyd is going to fight Victor Ortiz after he beat Berto, after all he said he would.

that was different that fight was jmm first fight at catchweight welter and floyd came in overweight.

this time if the weight is honored , it cud be more competitive

I actually agree with the poster I'll give it to you like this... I would rather see Marquez-Mayweather II or Ortiz-Mayweather II over a Pacquiao-Marquez IV or Pacquiao-Cotto II...

I also agree with Max Kellerman when he stated that Marquez has never looked better at the weight, after the way he performed against Pac with such fluidity, he looked that night as if he fought at that weight his whole career as opposed to when he first fought Mayweather and looked sluggish. But then again I suppose Mayweather can make just about anybody look sluggish...

Marquez can't beat Mayweather but I'd be willing to bet that it'd be a much more competitive fight this time around..

It wont be different , Floyd made him look like an amateur and never got out of second gear , JMM would be lucky to win a single round ,,,

Floyd is way sharper now than he was that first time as well. Even if Marquez is better at the weight, Mayweather is better as well.

Why would Floyd embarrass JMM again?

Besides Bob has an agenda to put JMM in with Peterson and the winner gets Pac in November.
