Ok lets assume Arum will get part of his 40 million. 27.5% of 40 million is still leaves him with a hell of a lot more than 7.4 million. Agree?

Pacquiao earned close to $13 million from his lion?s share of the purse and is expected to make much more from his fat slice of the pay-per-view (PPV) pie.

Pacquiao made around 25m for this fight. That 25m after everyone was paid.

Im not worried about how much pac is making im just making sense of the situation. I actually knew for a fact pac was getting robbed long before this new evidence came out and argued with people about it in threads. Only person preventing this fight at this point is Bob Arum cause if Top Rank was serious about negotiations and compared figures with GBP to determine who gets what then all will be revealed. Believe what you want im sticking with what makes sense.

Well you acting as if it's 40mil plus a PPV and a gate all the other revenue that comes with it. But, there is no upside it's just a flat fee...that 7.4 number you throwing out there. Which by all accounts might very well not be accurate. Also has a PPV, gate and other revenue upside.

And, compare to what the fight might actually made it be a rotten deal. Like the one Oscar chose. The only that 40mil guarantee from Floyd is a good is if it does like 2mil buys and that's it. Floyd actually knows what Pac is bringing to the table hence why he is offering this because he is pretty sure that the event would make numbers we never seen before.

You know your stuff but are wrong here. You just said for it to be a good deal it would have to do 2 million buys and that's it. How many fights in history sold more than that? Maybe 2? Their last 2 fights combined probably didn't hit 2.5.

Plus in your utopian world arum would be ok with split revenue and co-promotion. Under this deal arum is cut out.( yes I know manny is under contract, but that doesn't mean top rank promotions needs to be involved) Manny would pay bob a small purse instead of the other way around

Not sure how much he thinks he is going to make. But, I'm guess he is banking that this fight will shatter every revenue record there is. Same thing what I think Floyd is banking since he is offering this.

Just co-promote it, split the cost in half to make the event. And, split the revenue 50/50 on everything.

Well that will depend on how much it will sell. Anything more than 2.4m buys and that $75m for a 50/50 split.

Floyd not wanting to do the 50/50 split is just as bad as Pac not wanting to fight on May 5th. No better, no worse simple.
