I deleted some names of their resumes, that's what it's supposed to be like IMO. Clearly Floyd. You can't add Margarito 2008 and Pacquiao 2009, for Cotto, cause he did not win those fights. And then Margarito in 2011 and Mayorga are both shit fights that are not worth adding there.
Who has the better resume, Mayweather or Cotto???

Johnwoo is a fanboy of who exactly? STFU your just ignorant. And, Pac would be the greatest win in Floyd career. Floyd doesn't have a win against a certified ATG. And, not only is Pac a certified ATG but he's also a current elite fighter.
I do agree that it's not close between Floyd and Cotto on who has the better resume.
You've been stuck on ****** for quite some time and I showed the forum that months ago. You had the chance to make you case but you knew that you couldn't back you're **** up and kept quiet. You were smart then.
Listen Chuy Bravo ...
The last latino ATG was Ricardo Lopez. You don't even know THAT much.
So again ... WTF do YOU know about ATGs?
You don't know the difference between a HOF and an ATG.
The terms are interchangeable for an idiot like you who simply repeats what he reads in magazines.
Personally, I think Mayweather's win over DLH when DLH came in as a super-middleweight was more impressive than a win over a man who claims to be "so small".
Arum has already set up the excuses for Pacquiao.
"Manny is so small."
"Manny has cramps."
"Manny was on the decline because the fight took so long to make."
"Freddie's health was in decline and couldn't adequately prepare Manny for Floyd."
The fight could have happened years ago, but your "certified ATG" knows that his good run would have been a short run had he actually stepped up to fight the perceived #1 fighter in Floyd Mayweather.
Besides, after seeing what Marquez did to Pacquiao, a great deal of boxing fans don't think that a win over Pacquiao is a big deal anymore. The veil of formidability surrounding Manny Pacquiao has been lifted. If the fight ever does get made, the odds will be lopsided.
I think DLH posed a much bigger threat at 168lbs than Manny Pacquiao will pose at 147lbs. In fact the threat level isn't even close.
Manny Pacquiao has campaigned as such a tiny guy that the value of a win over him for Mayweather isn't significant. The anticipation might be huge, but real fans have always maintained from the beginning that Manny was never a match for Mayweather.
I'd like to know what make you call him an ATG great though. Is it because all of the other peasants here hold hands and chant that **** until you finally believed it?
You do know that Pacquaio has 59 fights, right? And of those 59 fights 40 were against men you've never seen. They were club fighters/bums in southeast Asia.
But you knew that, right?
That leaves 19 fights. Are you telling me that you call Pacquiao a "certified ATG" because of the 19 fights Pacquiao has had since fighting Barrera?
LOL!
5 of those 19 were journeymen(Battery, Velazquez, Larios, Solis, Diaz).
So Pacquiao established an ATG career in those 14 fights?????
Hmm ...
Of those 14, three were his stablemates. Pacquiao would face them once and only once they had lost their rank at the top. So are you seriously stating that because Pacquiao fought 4th and 5th ranked WW fighters and won, he is an ATG?
HAHAHAHA .. at least you're consistent. Even if that just means you're always blowing smoke out of your asss.
We haven't even mentioned the catchweights.
I forget which forum member wrote it, but they said something like:
"Catchweights are for pusssies. If you're going to move up and face the best, do it legitimately. Real boxing greats win with their fists, not stipulations."
That's enough time wasted on your ****** asss.Comment

Chico (R.I.P) never was a top 10 P4P fighter, juste like Hatton. He's mainly famous because of his brawls with Castillo. And he was drained when he fought Floyd.
And no, just no, Floyd 130-135 isn't greater than "anything Cotto has done"
Are you ****in serious??
And as far as Hernandez, Jesus Chavez being great wins...I just don't know man...
Just look at each guys best wins, how could you not favor Floyd??? If you think Cotto's is better, than you must think Cotto is an ATG, which he isn't quite yet.
How were his wins over both Hernandez' and Chavez not good wins??? Genaro Hernandez had only lost once 3 years earlier to Oscar, and was the recognized Top Super Featherweight at the time. Also, Carlos Hernandez and Jesus Chavez hadn't lost in like 4-5 years, both were prime, and would go on to be World title holders, and have fights with Erik Morales, who EVERYONE says is legendary. So yes, G. Hernandez, C. Hernandez, and Chavez were good wins.
And yes, Floyd at 130-135 are better than Cotto's greatest wins.Last edited by 4Corners; 01-25-2012, 11:45 AM.Comment

Actually Hatton was #8 P4P when Floyd fought him. How do people not remember that Corrales and Hatton were both Top 10 P4P when they fought FLoyd??? These people have such short memories on NSB.Last edited by 4Corners; 01-25-2012, 11:39 AM.Comment

This i agree 100% with. Floyd allowed ricky to move him when he wanted amd shifted ricky wherever he wanted whenever he wanted.
I also though floyd looked stroger than shane in a big way.
At 147 ricky lost his advantages. At the end of the collazo fight he was grtting used up like collazo was throwing his little sister around.Comment

Think about this. Is either going into the hof? Prob not. Defintely not hatton and if corrales does, it'll prob be a sympathy vote.Comment
