Who has the better resume, Mayweather or Cotto???

Cotto has beatin Ricardo Torres, Paulie Malignaggi, Carlos Quintana and Yuri Foreman when they were undefeated. He beat Judah more impressively and he beat a better Shane Mosley. He finished off that bum DeMarcus Corley while Floyd went 12 rounds with him.

Floyd only beat Diego Corrales and Ricky Hatton when they were undefeated. He beat JLC unimpressively. He beat up Shane who didn't show up to fight. He beat DLH to split dec. He beat Arturo Gatti who had been through wars at this point. He beat JMM at a weight he never fought at, 11 pounds heavier then his highest weight he ever made while Floyd didn't even make weight. He beat Baldomir who had 9 losses at that time. He beat Chavez, good.

Looks like a toss up to me.

smh...the fiasco this weekend illustrated what was wrong with floyd mayweather and why ppl tend to hate him.

this thread rite here tho, shows exactly why ppl dont like cotto on this site. his fans are easily the most outrageous nuthuggers on the site. i mean in order to make him look good, these twist numbers, wins, losses, dates, winning percentages etc. its really sad.

Take the Mosley win out of Cotto's resume and it's pretty weak. Malignagi, Mosley, Clottey & Margarito where real good wins but the rest of these guys are Bums or has beens coming of a string of loses!!! Mayweather's faced P4P competition his entire career!!!

"Mayweather has no losses. Cotto has two." So, you think Mayweather is undefeated because he's better than Cotto? I'll say this; Cotto takes risks in the ring and fights the best. He cares about his people and the fans. If May had any balls, he would have at least two losses by now. He's good at picking his opponents and running his mouth and he's losing fans by the day. Including my Father! He has no respect for the sport. His antics are a thing of the past, and people are getting tired of him finally. He's had chance after chance to gain our respect; each time he fails. First, he turned down a 505-505 fight with Manny. Now he's STILL running from Cotto!! Cotto wants to fight him on May 5th! He keeps trying to call Cotto Mannys left-overs! What a joke this guy is. Cotto can beat him. He has one legit loss on his record and even that is skeptical because he was weight-drained against Manny. In a rematch at a healthy weight, look out. I don't play sides, I call it like I see it.

I don't see how this is even debatable. Really what argument is there for Cotto? It's just silly. You really have to a huge Cotto nuthugger or a huge Floyd hater to even make it seem like this even close.
