Pacquiao co-promotes every one of his events with Top Rank, under the MP Promotions company, so he gets his purse as the fighter and he gets a piece of the promotion. Mayweather also co-promotes his fights with Golden Boy under different terms, which is why a 50/50 split of the revenue for both sides is the only way it makes sense. Both fighters are also the co-promoters.
"How much money does MP Promotions pay out to promote his fights? What are their expenses? Why does Arum still get a percentage of his back end profits if Pacquiao is promoting his own events as you say? Why has fighters under his banner complained of not getting paid? Outside of endorsement deals for selling a product, what companies are exclusively sponsoring his fights"?

                    hey sapo dummy

Floyd was better known than manny when be fought hatton and the numbers were close. When he fought Oscar, you forget Oscar was the ppv king which is why he took 60% of the revenue and Floyd had to take 40. His fight against ortiz only did 1.09 in sales. They said 1.25 but then said it grossed 87 million and if you do the math at $80 a pop it comes out to 1.09. Mannys last fight did 1.4 million. Think before u speak.
