    Anytime doesn't mean May 5th .

I agree. Floyd probably wants a 60/40 split.

He should accept the 50/50 split. If he wins he can ask for a bigger split for the rematch.

Why would he ask for a 50/50 purse split? Arum guarantees Pacquiao's money, not Mayweather. They have never discussed a 50/50 purse split. It has always been 50/50 in the revenue department.

Pacquiao co-promotes every one of his events with Top Rank, under the MP Promotions company, so he gets his purse as the fighter and he gets a piece of the promotion. Mayweather also co-promotes his fights with Golden Boy under different terms, which is why a 50/50 split of the revenue for both sides is the only way it makes sense. Both fighters are also the co-promoters.

floyd has the date/venue, and a team of investors behind the event that's for sure, and he might not be willing to split the revenue 50/50. then bring in top rank and you have a mess.

i got 100% support for money may,but i have to admit he's WAY off on this one. except the 50/50 put hands on dude collect the check and be out. not accepting the 50/50 is making money look bad right now

Nice to see Atlas having goos sense for a change. And, as I've said before, Pacquiao taking "a lesser amount" (I believe were the original quoted words) does not mean less than 50%.

As Arlas points out, Pacquiao could very validly have expected to get more than 50%.

This and any decent fight cannot be properly put on without the services of an experienced promoer.
