This fight would have made for great viewing had Hamed not been five weight divisions above Finito...

lol I hate when people who have no idea what they are talking about make threads trying to pretend they are knowledgeable.

Why doesn't the TS make a thread about who would win between Barrera or Mike Tyson....

LOL dumbest thread of the year, nominated.

Its funny because there style is polar opposite!!!

naseem is very unperdictable and unorthodox and ricardo lopez has such a text book boxing with the whole hands up chin down and throwing stiff jabs etc...

            lopez was tiny, dude

            pint sized

they are separated by many weight classes, even if their height and reach isnt that far apart

hamed via knockout if you really have to ask

manny fought at 105 when he was a malnourished street kid from the phillipines

lots of your favorite weight class boxers competed in the amateurs at very low weights.

it's a silly question to ask, dude
just chalk it up as experience and move along knowing a bit more about each fighter (and the importance of about 20 lbs in the lower weight classes)

i think a more reasonable fight considering the weights would be lopez vs darchinyan. for me, prime darchinyan was the cristian mijares fight. i don't know why vic doesn't always fight like that, he was great in that one. i think that vic vs lopez would be an epic match-up. two of my favorite fighters down in those lower weights.

the reason i picked darchinyan is because he's got some serious punching power at 108-112 and he has a pretty unorthodox style.

now how about orlando canizales vs naseem hamed? what a war that would be!
