No... but you're acting like people think its going to be a huge war, anyone who knows just a bit about boxing would know it won't be, you're obviously missing the point as to why people are watching it. And you're Gatti-Ward point you really think Donaire-Rigo would be anywhere close too? I can put money on it being very technical and slow, it is an intriguing match up JUST like pac-may. You've offered no reason why you'd want to see Donaire-Rigo instead, which makes me think you're just being grandiose about the whole thing. So while most if not all your friends are having a good time and watching Pac-May you'd rather sit a lone and watch Donaire-Rigo??

Dont u understand that the majority of people who watch fights this big, the reason the PPV numbers get so high, are because a great many very casual fans tune in?? When Mike Tyson fought on PPV he wasnt drawing all die hard boxing fans, he was drawing a large number of fans who expected to see him brutalize someone that night...the more the MayPac fight is hyped up to the masses the more people who DONT know it could just be a good technical fight and not a war will watch..and they will be disappointed...a fight of that hype is expected to be VERY VERY VERY fan friendly...

my main focus and idea is to say there are OTHER FIGHTS out there in this game that are worthy and likely will be better to watch...also the fact is that Marquez took a lot of the shine off of this fight by performing as well as he did -again- in his last meeting with Pac...

Oh, that should be obvious to anyone who knows boxing.

Your right ! , I dont think it can be a great fight because Floyd will win easy .

Terrible matchup (as far as action goes)...

Donaire and Rigondeaux are great counter punchers that have excellent speed and power, but neither want to lead or fight on the inside. Against each other it'd be a tense high speed feint off.

Pacquiao's leaky defense against Mayweather's precision... Mayweather's high guard defense (for southpaws) against Pacquiao's rapid fire combinations... The biggest, most anticipated fight in boxing... No question...

You guys are up this late talking boxing? I may as well join in! (I'm still riding high on that Giants victory over the Niners!)

Rigo isn't ready for Donaire, IMO. Who knows how long it'll take Guillermo to be ready? My guess is at least three fights. (I can't believe I'm even saying that when the guy has only nine pro fights under his belt!)

I think Gamboa is a little too much for Nonito at featherweight. Speed, athleticism and power is comparable. And, although Donaire is taller, Yuri is a brick-house at 126.

As for entertainment value, there seems to be little question: Gamboa-Donaire would be fireworks.

What do you think about Rigo so far, Ice?
