It's interesting how people like you who are supposedly so appalled at the claims of extreme Klitschko fans seem to think that being just as extreme on the flip side of the coin is any better. You're just the flip side of that which you claim to hate.

No, I red K'd him and you for trying to goad people into being nasty and extreme here so you can then whine and complain about them being nasty and extreme.

Vitali will defend his WBC crown on February 18 in Munich skirmish against Dereck Chisora (15-2, 9 KOs). The next possible opponent could be WBA world champion David Haye (25-2, 23 KOs), who in July of 2011 was defeated by Vitali's 35-year-old brother Wladimir.

Why, are you actually Vitali himself or are you the lining of his jock strap?

Man, I've seen way worse than Vitali. His brother for one. I don't believe the Lewis story, and you are right about the HW div, but who has he lost to, ducked, or avoided?

So yea he can~ if he wants
Yep, and from what I hear the K's are smart with their money.

I am not arguing, just pointing out that back in the day champions did not fight top competition 6 times a year.

Sure, you would have had quantity, but perhaps not the quality that you and I would be hoping for.

Not saying anything is better/worse/whatever, just that champions who were fighting 6 times a year would only fight maybe 1-2 top 10 opponents, if that.

Which is why a guy like Froch deserves a lot of credit.

                    we want hard fights, right?

perhaps a great fighter could get away with it for a few years, but eventually you'll get busted up and need time to heal

three times a year is plenty for my taste.
That's what I think, and good point about it shortening your career.

Three fights a year against good-top competition is fine imho.

Wow, short of Pac/May, nobody evokes more passion within the sport of boxing than the Klitschko Brothers.

Folks either love em, or hate em, there is no middle ground

I'm not sure if that is good or bad ?

They are not the greatest heavyweights of all time, but Pac/May are clearly not the greatest of all time either, and the K's have pretty much ruled the heavyweight div for most of the last decade.

They fight conservatively, but they will fight anyone..... whereas someone like Pacquiao will fight aggressively, but only against someone he knows he can beat..... I dunno, you just have to take the good with the bad..... it is what it is..... there is no perfect fighter, or perfect resume'.

Vitali is a badass, big, tough, and mean..... just the way I like em.
