Cotto has proven himself a good boxer with good timing in his punches, over the years. Some "slick" guys who were supposed to outbox him and pick him apart, didn't do so. Starting from Malignaggie, to Quintana, to Judah, hell even Mosley to a lesser extent.

The only guys who beat him were strong, aggressive or power punching types. Now Mayweather is no Malignaggie or Carlos QUintana but still. This would be fun to watch. Cotto will either get outboxed or he won't. There is no way Floyd does to Cotto, what Margarito or even Pacquiao did. Not unless Floyd picks up his workrate or develops a Heavyweight power punch all of a sudden.

If Ortiz FLoyd shows up which im sure will since thats going to be the only Floyd we see to finish out his career, Cotto will not see the final bell. Floyd has been sitting on his punches big time and this is just the begining.

Pac Cotto would just end up the same as their first fight. If we can't have mayweather-Pac, then I'd want to see Cotto May, which is at least new

I think May/Cotto would be a bit more interesting since it's never happened before. From Cotto's prospective i'd say it was the better fight, because he could get the biggest payday of his career as well as be able to say he fought the best there was, even though he will have most likely lost to both.

I'd rather see either Mayweather or Pac fight Martinez at 154 over Cotto, but we all know that **** ain't happening.

I voted Mayweather/Cotto only because we have seen Cotto be beaten by volume punching pressure fighters with skill (pac) to see him face a pure boxer (who in a sense is aging) would be interesting.

The contrasting style should be interesting for the first half of the fight though I know Floyd would pick the battle worn Cotto apart.

There you go. Easy fight, easy money for Floyd.

                      Ball's in Floyd's court now.
