Dude, who is elite to you? Cotto wipes the floor with ANYONE at 154. Martinez is a big ***** who trying to fight smaller guys and will get spanked by Cotto too my man. Have you seen how low he keeps his hands, and Cotto's powerful, stiff straight jab? He catches that man all day if Sergio can make weight I welcome that fight. Is elite only Pac and May? THat's ridiculous. Elite is top ten at least. And Cotto beats most of the top ten if not all of the top ten at 154. Be real.

You do understand the premise behind catchweights, right ?

Middle-ground, in order to produce a fairer contest.

One is a lightweight, one is a welter, and yet Pac " conceded " a weight that is higher than he can make himself

      GTFOH with that rubbish.

Pacquiao tried to setup a 38yo midget, he intended to blow Marquez out of the ring because he saw from the Mayweather fight that Marquez looked old, fat, and slow, above 135.

      Get real dude, SMH.
I would choose a catchweight rather than a fighter coming in overweight fighting a smaller opponent.

      ***en moron.

        Makes no sense at all.

I think there is no chance of a Mayweather/Cotto fight, none.

I think Mayweather will fight Martinez, but unfortunately, I think it will be at 150.
You think Dibella is going to scrap his whole card for March 17? He has already pulled Lee off for Sturm. No way he can afford to pull Martinez as well!

Floyd beats the brakes off cotto at any weight.
You serious muy man? Over the hill, alcoholic, coke sniffing ODLH was a healthy guy? Ask your man why he avoided COtto and Margarito back then. And ask him why he fought MOsley years after Cotto beat his ass. Yeah, I thought so. Floyd got no easy night with Miguel. My man has timing and can box, your boy even acknowledges his skill more than you do. WHy? Because he is a fighter himself and knows wasup.

Mayweather-Cotto, make this fight happen before its too late, Pacquiao is already out of the May 5 date, his only choice of opponent for June 9 is Cotto and he doesnt even want to fight him above 147.

I was watching a replay of Canelo's fight with Cintron last night, he packs a punching power that can hurt Floyd but May 5th I think is too premature to put him in there with Mayweather.

Agreed. People think Martinez is this super elite fighter after he KO'd Paul. Dude looked like shlt against Barker when he shoulda wiped the floor with him. He needs to learn to not drop his hands.

Lets not act like there are so many options.
I think Cotto should fight Floyd. Its a good fight for both guys and good money for both.

Cotto deserves the money and Floyd IS NOT taking an easy fight. Plus the bonus is its a slap in the face of Arum and another good fighter taking the tests no problem.

Nah, you would sit in the corner and p1ss yourself if you ever got into a fight.

Boxing is a man's sport kid, and it uses weight divisions for a reason.

                    Catch-weights are for PU55IES !!

Well, he would receive step-aside money, but good point actually.

Hard to see that card surviving without Martinez at this stage.
