bu bu but Cotto still lives in Puerto Rico. That's too far from las vegas for Mayweather to fight him.

When Cotto makes 145(he made 146 in the previous fight) for Manny he's weight drained, when Manny makes 143 for Marquez it's all good???

Why Marquez didn't fight Manny at 147??In marquez case it's fair???

And at least unlike Floyd, Manny respected the catchweight.

WRONG. Cotto's dad passed after the Pac fight.
Yep, but I think he was getting muddled with the split between Miguel and Evan Cotto, his head trainer. Cotto used Santiago for that fight, hardly ideal.

If Manny had any self respect, he would have fought Marquez at 140, instead of "conceding" a catchweight that is higher than Manny has ever weighed himself

You do understand the premise behind catchweights, right ?

Middle-ground, in order to produce a fairer contest.

One is a lightweight, one is a welter, and yet Pac " conceded " a weight that is higher than he can make himself

                GTFOH with that rubbish.

Pacquiao tried to setup a 38yo midget, he intended to blow Marquez out of the ring because he saw from the Mayweather fight that Marquez looked old, fat, and slow, above 135.

                Get real dude, SMH.

Of course, mayweather will have tons of excuses not to fight cotto. Last time i checked, floyd's excuse was tr fighters are out of floyd's radar screen. But then cotto is a free agent now. So what's the excuse this time?

Pac/cotto 2 needs to be stopped before arum schedules the fight. This is a useless fight.

smh the commeents you "fans" make!
