In a way I wouldn't mind seeing Mayweather vs. Cotto, just because that would mess up Bob Arum's plans for Pacquiao.

And Pac would be forced to fight someone new like Tim Bradley or Lamont Peterson. (unless he wants to be embarrassed against JMM again.)

Cotto vs floyd is not competitive. It will be a boring wipeout. Anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional. Cotto is a b+ fighter and always has been. He should be calling guys out like the winner of Berto Ortiz or Canelo maybe kirkland angulo etc.

I could see Cotto doing better against Pac at 154. Tough fight for him against Mayweather at 147 or 154.

I think TR will give Cotto the better offer so I still think he's gong to fight Pacquiao

Nothing will stop Manny Pacquiao from choosing the oldest, or the worst opponent he can pick. Or a combination of both.

If he can't fight Cotto, you think he'll fight Bradley? He will go with the oldest opponent he can fight, which is JMM. Remember when he had the options to pick between Marquez, Berto, and Mosley? Who did he pick? The oldest and worst one, the one coming off the worst couple of performances. No matter what any one says, JMM is a cherrypick. It doesn't matter if JMM beat him, it was just a cherrypick gone bad, like DLH vs Pacquiao. It was a cherrypick gone wrong, but still a cherrypick for DLH at the end of the day. It's sad when you're the supposed top 2nd p4p fighter, and one of the best WW's supposedly, I don't think so, and you fight the guys Pacquiao has been fighting.

Just a ploy by Cotto to get more money from Arum. Floyd can't afford Miguel. And who would promote that fight? Would GBP be getting a fee from both guys to promote a fight that doesn't involve any of their fighters? Oscar and Schaefer would be the biggest dopes to agree to that.

At least Cotto might get paid!

At the end of the day, Cotto gets completely outclassed and royally embarrassed vs Mayweather. He has a better chance against Pac in a rematch.

So, Cotto to the highest bidder then? Excellent for Miguel! And I personally hope he chooses Mayweather and gives him the fight of his life. We've seen Cotto-Pacquiao before.
