Why do you keep bringing up the fact that we already agreed on Floyd beating Cotto? We passed that. I'm talking about Cotto as a tecnical fighter/Boxer now. Most posters come on here and just say things without explaining them and that's simply what I am doing.

You said Shane lost to Wright, Forrest,Cotto and Mayweather......Do you see a pattern there. With the acceptation of forrest who was more offensive. The other fighters ARE KNOWN FOR THEIR DEFENSE. Something you say Cotto does not have. He is a technical boxer something you already admitted by saying he beat Shane with....He also has fought going backwards and has won....and also has face adversity and won....?????so what????You said no to all these.

Sergio KO's Paul then people think he's got all this gawdy punching power. Before that fight Sergio wasnt really known for his power. It's funny how one fight can change all that. That goes for Manny too after he KO'd Hatton. Who's Manny KO'd and not TKO'd since then? Sergio is a good fighter but so is Miguel, but to say Cotto has no chance to beat Sergio, is absurd.

Sergio KO'd his last 3 opponents. Williams, Sergei and Barker. He dropped Sergei 5 times before he stopped him and Sergei even though he moved up. Dzinziruk was still naturally bigger than Cotto AND he was already an established champion at 154 by beating Daniel Santos and defending his title six times. Dude never been dropped, amateur or professionally. Barker is also naturally bigger than Cotto and Sergei, both bigger than Martinez. Martinez would murk Cotto.

As long as Cotto actually sticks to his guns and doesn't go below 150lbs anymore, he's adjusted to the 150's well and relies on his Boxing ability more than his bullying style. His new trainer has a hell of a task ahead if either guy chooses Cotto.

I'm more down to see Cotto vs Mayweather at this point tho..It's the fight I've been wanting to see since 2006/07

sorry but he does. I dont think that Cotto power will have much effect against a true 54lber he hasnt even fought a real 54lber so how do you know hes even effective at 54lbs. i dont think he is. also hes def not going to out smart or box Sergio.

only way i see that fight going is Cotto gets his ass beat.

I don't care who Mayweather is, if Cotto fights at 154, and Mayweather WANTS Cotto, then they fight at 154, end of story.

You can bring a guy up, but you cant bring him down..... just my opinion.

Mayweather will not get much credit from me for beating either Martinez or Cotto at 150..... Cotto would be ok at 150, but I'm not sure about Martinez.

He should get a little credit for Cotto, but not much credit for Martinez.

That may sound a little silly, seeing that Martinez is a fkn beast..... but 150 is going to affect Sergio much more than it would Cotto.
