What excuses are legit and illegit for losing a fight ?

i would say the only legit "excuse" is if you were blatantly robbed. like the lara vs williams or chisora vs helenius fights. a fight where the overwhelming majority thought one guy won and the other guy gets the decision.

Broken hand during the fight seems pretty legit to me.

Getting stopped on cuts while winning is not really a legit excuse. It's more of a "the fight result gave no indication about which fighter is better" situation IMO.

There's only 2 I can think of. 1: If it's an obvious robbery (Casamayor-Santa Cruz, Williams-Lara) and 2: If the other fighter is caught cheating (The obvious one is Resto-Collins Jr.)
