That scenario is ridiculous, and I do not believe it for one second, but I can see why some could come to that conclusion.

    **** is unbelievable.

    Tennis anyone ?

And to anybody who thinks that this was planned.....

So, Team Pacquiao and Team Mayweather are working together to delay the fight, milk the fans, and maximize a huge payday further down the line..... and yet the best excuse that they could come up with back in 2009 is that Mayweather suspected that Manny was using steroids, and Pac refused to take the test?

Yea right, get real, the split would have been the issue back then, and nothing else..... they certainly would not have used drug testing as an excuse, if both teams were secretly colluding then neither team would have risked raising questions over Manny's legitimacy.

Who the *** would agree to that ?

    Certainly not Manny

Clearly, both teams wanted that fight back in 2009. Pacquiao refusing Mayweather's OSDT request is what killed the fight back then.

At the next available opportunity, in May 2010, Arum spent 7 weeks bull****ting the media over his deadline scam, and he refused to enter into legitimate negotiations with GBP instead preferring to send them a ridiculous demand that was never taken seriously and immediately slapping a deadline on it..... hardly what you would call a negotiation.

Since it became clearly obvious that Mayweather would never relinquish his testing demands, Team Pacquiao appear to have resigned themselves to the fact that if they want that huge payday they will have to wait until Manny's very last fight in order to collect it..... but they cannot make it obvious, hence the "deadline" scam.

But Mayweather rejecting a 50/50 split when he appeared to have Team Pacquiao backed into a corner seems ridiculous after already agreeing to the split.

The only thing I can think of...... is that Mayweather is tied to May 5th, and there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with that date, it is the very best available date for that fight, no question...... but he has no leverage at all to push Arum into that date..... so he will agree to 50/50 if they will agree to May 5th.

If not, then Mayweather is an idiot, because he allowed Team Pacquiao to fight their way back off the ropes just like GRUS suggested earlier.

    This **** is getting ridiculous.
Garbage! You never learn your story. Requesting OST which is never been required by any boxing commission killed the fight. Pac has all the rights to refuse it because accomplishments wise. He leaves Floyd in the dust.

        .
So what if pac said he would take less than 5050 to show he wanted to fight and if thats what it would take to get Floyd to start talks. Thats just like Sergio saying he will fight Floyd at 150 because he is desperate to get the fight, but Floyd would be a duck and chicken to accept 150 and not 154. Pac might even lie and say he'll allow Cortez to be the referee if thats what it would take to get floyd out of hiding.

Sergio might now try convince the fight should be 154 just like Pac is making acase that he deserves more, or at least even money.

Only because Pac refused. An OSDT request did not kill the Tyson/Holyfield fight, an OSDT request did not kill the Mayweather/Mosley fight, an OSDT request did not kill the Mayweather/Ortiz fight..... an OSDT request killed the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight, because Pac refused random blood tests without a 24-day cutoff, just like it says here.....
The biggest fight in boxing is now on the table. Manny Pacquiao dominated Joshua Clottey over twelve rounds at Cowboys Stadium in March. Floyd Mayweather Jr. dominated Shane Mosley on Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. There are two issues at hand, the issue of money and the random Olympic-style drug testing. The two sides sat down earlier this year and the two fighters could not agree on the cut-off date for the random drug testing. Following the win over Mosley, Mayweather said the Pacquiao could not be made without the random drug testing being involved.

Nobody is confused but you pal. Attempting to re-write history is lame.

What Pac showed, is that he says things that he does not mean.

So I am starting to wonder if he really will agree to take the test ?

And whats up with this ****..... ?

To the Filipino media... " making the fight is more important than money

To the American media... " we cannot fight on May 5th because we need to build a new stadium in order to maximize the revenue " ?

Shall we change the subject and talk about something else ?

Well of course it didn't. Because, Tyson/Holyfield didn't have OSDT. Talk about attempting to re-write history.

And, OSDT didn't kill the Ward-AA fight because AA still went on when Ward balked at the issue.

It was a testing protocol that was not " required by any boxing commission ".

And it was not a problem.

                    Mosley ?

                    Ortiz ?

It's just a fkn harmless blood test, not open heart surgery

Right, but it was NOT OSDT now was it?

Exactly, I can't believe that Andre Ward. SMH, oh well even though AA lost props to him for going through with it anyways.
