What does that mean?

A normal interpretation would be a lesser share than he originally wanted, say from 55% to 50%. That is the way I read it. Guys at MannyP's level are generally very careful f what thay say, and how and when they say it. They have experts paid to work out for them exactly hpw to respond to every sircumstance, very much like politicians. I exclude an ucontrollable guy like Mayweather, because he is a runaway horse, but MannyP keeps his few utterances well uder control. And I;m reminded that he is also a politician, and has taken a college degree in politics, to make himself fit to serve in Parliament.

Funny, Pac said, after his JMM fight, that he didn't deserve a 50/50 split against Floyd. He said that he would do the fight at a 60/40 split. Mayweather jumped all over it, and now they wan't to bring up a 50/50 split out of nowhere, knowing that it was not going to fly. I'll admit, it was a smart move though, Bob knows Floyd well.

What are you talking about? Mayweather wants the fight, he just wants the deal Pac originally offered. When Manny talked about the 60/40 split, Bob didn't say anything about it being a problem. Now, all of a sudden, it is a huge problem.

If there was $100M being split between them, the new 50-50 offer would take $10M out of Floyd's pocket. Also, using the last PPV numbers of the fighters to make an argument for the split is foolish. Floyd fought Victor Ortiz, someone that the public and many people didn't know or care about until the Mayweather fight. Floyd made Victor famous. Manny was fighting JMM, a fighter that already has a good following, and someone that Pac had/has a feud with. The number of Hispanic people who paid for the fight to see JMM beat Manny was crazy.

I'm glad he's flipping out about it. Floyd needs a reality check when it comes to how the split should be.

Styles make fight, Its not Pac fault that May wanted to fight Ortiz, and Pac choose a harder opp... May is the best in the business and hes smart.
