Rico fought scared, no doubt, but I respect the kid. As you know, it takes stones to get in there. And, let's face it, Rico isn't in Rigo's league...and he knew it. Ramos was psychologically defeated, even before that left hook to the liver.

I'm happy but not satisfied with Rigo's performance. "El Chacal" is still finding his legs as a pro. I hope, and expect, that he'll be awesome to watch after just a few more fights. Right now, he's getting the job done. There's more to great boxing than that. It's a show. Give the fans what they want.

Ramos looked scared. He fougt that Jap the same way but in thay one, he got lucky with that KO. This time around, he's the one that got KO. Good body shot by Rigo. Would like to him fight Nonito. Rigo would kick spanked though imo. Mares is moving up so I wouldn't mind seeing Rigo-Mares either.

A few people here called "Rigo by KO to the liver." (I would wager they were all Cuban. lol) I didn't really believe it, but they were right! Truth is, it's no real surprise. That left hook to the body is Rigo's secret weapon. It's hard to defend. For one, it's just something you don't see anymore; for another, you can't train certain parts of the body to take a punch like that.

In my opinion, Guillermo's not ready for Donaire. Let's not forget that this was only Rigo's ninth pro fight(!). I have no doubt that he would give Nonito a run for his money even now; but I want to win, not just have a shot. Rigo is relatively old, so he needs to move quickly, but he shouldn't be rushed.
