More total money in Morales fight, more Marquez money in Peterson fight plus the ties to Top Rank make this an easy might to make.

I don't know why people even bring that up, Marquez already said he's not interested and acknowledges that Morales is done. He wants Bradley or Peterson, Morales at this point does nothing for his legacy and legacy should be a top priority for Marquez because he's already up there in age and probably doesn't have many great performances left.

Definitely Peterson-Marquez. Morales-Marquez reeks of mismatch, it's a showcase fight for Marquez, one that oddly enough...many are interested in seeing.

And this is why an immediate rematch is Dumb. I had just heard an interview Peterson gave where he Mentioned Marquez as being his favorite fighter to watch and gave much respect to the Mexican Legend. Lamont might be a little overwhelmed to hear Icons Like Marquez and PacMan are interested in doing the Tango, but i think he would accept either DancePartner in a Heartbeat. I would rather See Marquez and Peterson fight for the Sole Reason that Any fight with PacMan is going to PPV and I am not sure Peterson is PPV worthy Yet. Another Cool thing about this fight is that Both Marquez and Peterson usually get KnockedDown before they Make their adjustments and will be interesting to see who Falls first.

What I would like to happen is, Khan/Bradley and Marquez/Peterson should fight, and then the winners should fight each other. Then, the winner of that should fight for the WBC belt, which will probably be held by Danny Garcia after he gets though Morales.

Nope, I like many had Peterson beating Khan and the judges scoring the Ortiz fight a draw seemed fitting after re-watching it, initially I had Ortiz the clear winner. It's Ortiz who decided to get on his bike and do nothing in the second half. No shame in losing to Bradley either...

This is still a great fight and it'll be competitive, great style clash too. Peterson's strength, defense, infighting abilities are better than Diaz's or Katsidis' and Peterson can box a little too. Marquez, at this age, how will he cope with Peterson's body attack? This fight stylistically is AWESOME!

please if it wasn't for the bs point deductions khan would be the winner of that fight i was more impressed with Morales defeat vs Maidana then peterson's win over khan

the only fight that would do more for JMM's legacy at 140 over the morales fight is bradley

For one Lamont does nothing for Marquez's legacy, and 2 Lamont is bigger than Floyd, and we all seen how Floyd manhandled Marquez now given that Lamont is a bit less skilled than Floyd but he was rumored to give Floyd all he could handle in sparring a couple years ago so that said I don't think this is a good fight for Marquez, I'd rather see him fight Morales
