The point was to give a clearer understanding of the risks involved and possibility of a delay. Maybe that was common sense to you (doubt it) but may not have been to others.

Why would they waste money they have to spend to get materials, equipment, and to pay the constructors when they can just make the fight in May 5th and get the highest PPV records ever??
