It's interesting how nobody asks Arum about construction delays. If there is one delay it will kill the fight. Too much risk involved. Why don't any of these "professional journalists" ask him about it?

actually Arum was asked in another article. he said the construction could get done by May 5th if they tried hard, but they want to avoid the issue that you are talking about, if its not ready in time, which is why they want late-May. Ellerbe's concern is the same, what if they do late May and the stadium doesnt get finished and then Floyd has to go to jail without a fight.

I just checked on google and there is a football stadium in Las Vegas (Sam Boyd Stadium) that has a capacity of 40,000. It is 7 miles from the airport and UNLV campus. Plenty of parking on the grounds. This is is built already, why can't they fight there on May 5??? Why do we need a new stadium? People will gladly take there cab/limo rides to the football stadium as they do when a fight is at the Thomas and Mack Center.

"They got to get off this May 5th date"? May 5th is traditionally one of the best days for boxing in the year, but Arum wants to fight on a ****ty "temporary outdoor venue" on "late May" ... Las Vegas has a stadium with 38,000 capacity, and guess what, it's already built!

might as well fight at the mgm grand on may 5th

they can build the stadium for the rematch when floyd gets out of jail
