actually Arum was asked in another article. he said the construction could get done by May 5th if they tried hard, but they want to avoid the issue that you are talking about, if its not ready in time, which is why they want late-May. Ellerbe's concern is the same, what if they do late May and the stadium doesnt get finished and then Floyd has to go to jail without a fight.

So in other words, ditch the stadium bull****. I wonder how that "Floyd's guarantee" BS is working out for Bob.

BTW, if the fight will be in vegas... it will have to be at MGM. period. both promo companies would rather BUILD a temporary stadium at the MGM instead of going to some random existing stadium.

what about the UNLV football stadium. it seats over 40.000 and is on the strip right next to the airport. arum and pacquiao are ducking the fight. i'm not really blaming pacquiao because bob arum is in his ear.but this does lok bad on manny though
