carl froch has fought every top fighter in the buzzing s/m division and compared against any other fighter of any division over the last two years he stands alone.
carl seems to have lost some respect in some quarters of the sport just because he lost to an obviously gifted andre ward.
this remains undeserved as he fears no man and would probably fight klitchko if given the chance.
cleverly has fought no world class fighters and he is just doing similar to what martinez does..........pick on the smaller man.
    ****.

To be fair to Froch he has plenty of unfinished business at SM.

He wants to revenge the loss to Kessler, possible showdowns with Bute and others. I can understand why Cleverly is not on his radar at this moment in time.

Froch had the same problem with Calzaghe, Calzaghe wanted the top names at that stage of his career, the proven fighters.

Currently Cleverly's been quoted as walking around at 14 stone, Froch is rarely 4 pounds over his fighting weight 12. It's a lot of weight and strength difference come fight night.

Also, Cleverly at this stage is a paper champ. Not going to do anything for Froch's legacy should he win.

Cleverly needs to step up against Shumenov - that'll raise his profile enough for Froch to consider the fight.

Next summer they can do it - gives Cleverly enough time to raise his profile, gets a couple of respected names on his record and prove himself, and for Froch to sort out his unfinished business at SMW before moving up to LHW.

Froch isnt looking for easy fights, he wants the best as his record proves. He has faced back to back - Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Kessler, Abraham, Ward and now looks forward to two fights with Bute or a rematch with Kessler.... Nuff said

they are big fights for Cleverly.

Which is why he'll have to fight some random unkown(s) inbetween bouts with them. 2 big fights in a row like that are out of the question.

Cleverly Bellow was a good scrap, i'd watch it again. Enzo Mac is a bit of a joke, but I've a feeling he'll knock cleverly out so I'd watch that too for a laugh. On boxnation which I've paid for. It'll be entertaining enough. Probably more entertaining than watching him get taken apart by Dawson or Hopkins. He's more evenly matched against Bellow and Enzo, so it'll be interesting.

I'll not pay for flights to Wales and tickets to watch it but i'll watch it on tv. And u probably will too.

I've paid to watch Paul McCloskey live ffs. Twice. And I'll probably do it again. So i cant slag anyone for paying to watch Cleverly (who i dont really mind but he's starting to piss me of a bit)
