  • Comments Thread For: Cleverly: If The Fight is That Easy, Why Don't Froch Do It!

WBO light heavyweight champion Nathan Cleverly (23-0, 11KOs) is wondering why super middleweight Carl Froch (28-2, 20KOs) is refusing to fight him. Cleverly feels Froch is possibly being arrogant in his refusal of a fight, especially one that would generate a lot of money with the British market. In a recent interview, Froch said he wasn't too impressed with Cleverly and didn't consider him as a hard opponent. If the fight is that easy, then Cleverly wonders why Froch is not signing a contract.

Shut up, Cleverly. All you do is talk. You are the one who was to chicken to fight Shumenov and then lied about it. Nobody listens to what you say because you are a hypocrit!

He might be a "work on the cheap" plumber from Eastern Europe, but there's truly no excuse for the appalling grammar shown in the title of this article.

I'm going to make a complaint and have him shipped back to Cossackland. It's a f^cking disgrace.

Froch has the possibility of fighting Bute, at his fighting weight, for more prestige, money. Or he could fight Cleverly, a paper champion, for less money, and offers less weight to Froch's legacy further down the line. mmmmmm, I wonder why Froch won't face him?
          Cleverly?...How ironic. LOL!

this is like the Calzaghe - Froch situation but now Froch is the topdog and Cleverly is in the role Froch was in.

This guy keeps giving interviews/releasing statements linking himself to big names, but I've yet to hear of him actually trying to fight anyone worthwhile, and him and Warren looked pretty stupid over the fake 'offer' to Shumenov.
