Because Bob Arum and Freddie Roach always come up with these C weights

        To drain the fighter

This weight was Martinezs offer on numerous pleas for the fight

With either Manny or Floyd ( ill come down to 150)

I was just going to say the same thing. Is it a mere coincidence that this article is published at the same exact time Bob Arum officially says there'll be no Mayweather fight, as Pac has chosen his next opponent - http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/sh...=532418&page=3. It kind of appears that way, and seems as though Boxing Scene is trying to deflect attention away from Bob Arum's statement. I bet you any money Boxing Scene doesn't put up an article covering what Arum just said.

Agreed. It's a bytch move.... If Martinez accepts the offer, hopefully Floyd doesn't go coward like Pac and say OK i'll fight you at 147... or just say no, you're "too good" like when they ducked Mosley...

People, it's not a direct quote, and if manages to come from FLoyd , then he shouldn't get any credit for fighting Martinez any higher than 154.

Another Floyd's bluff if Martinez said for sure Mayweather will say 'I did not want Martinez'. I did not say I want to fight him. Only *****s believed on what's coming from Floyd.

C'mon man. He was doing so good for himself as of lately. Why does he have to go and say this? Fight someone @ 147 or 154. Nothing in between. I am a heavy Mayweather supporter but he will lose 25 p4p points if he goes through with a catchweight. He lost 5 p4p points for this quote. Don't fall into Manny's p4p way of doing things. Stick to the conventional way of doing business.
