The king has spoken and it holds true even all these months later. Pacquiao and Arum should retire together if they still want to insult the sport with these shenanigans. Maybe Manny can cut Bobs grass when his funds have been depleted by Buboy and the rest of the leeches.

I talk boxing regularly at work with a shockingly high number of boxing fans, and not one of them makes these kinds of statements. And when you factor how old Shane looked in that fight, you really can understand why the public feels the way they do. He looked old, slow, shopworn and he gassed out after 4 rounds. We want to see him in there with a young fighter like Alvarez, or fighters that posses stylistic match up intrigue like a Martinez, Pac ect. What makes it even worse is the fact that he tries to over sell these fights. We as boxing fans deserve better.

lol man, Cotto and Margarito are highly over rated just because they didn’t fight Floyd. Besides you and I both know Bob wouldn’t make those fights. Hell he wouldn’t even make them when Floyd was with Top Rank. Neither of them guys where ever that great to begine with. Cotto couldn’t hold on to a title and Margarito's entire career went into question the night Mosley destroyed him.
Nobody at WW or JMW has a pulse when we speak on Floyd's standards.

Here is your welterweight rankings:
Manny Pacquiao
Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Victor Ortiz
Andre Berto
Vyacheslav Senchenko
Kell Brook
Mike Jones
Jan Zaveck
Selcuk Aydin
Shane Mosley
At the current moment, he is a beltholder at 154 and doesn't have to fight Guerrero. He can fight Canelo for more money and its an opponent that is actually in demand.

When Floyd fights young fighters people complain that they are not experienced enough. Don't get me wrong I wouldn’t mind seeing the Alvarez fight but that is no better than an Ortiz fight. Remember Ortiz was young and big too.
Tell me this, If Martinez fights Floyd and looks old and slow will you then turn and say it was a crap fight that Floyd doesn’t take on young prime fighters etc?
You know that Martinez is getting older right? However he is the MW Champ but if Floyd makes him look bad you know people are going to **** on that fight too even though they were the ones calling for the fight beforehand. Much like many people did when it came to Mosley who Pac ducked.

We wan't to see Floyd tested against some young opponents or opponents that brings something new to the table than being shopworn like Shane and Miguel, or previously exposed like Ortiz. The funny thing is that Floyd has the skill and potential to beat all these cats, but can we at least see these fights?
Both of you explain this to me. Why is Floyd allowed to have a belt at 154 and not fight Martinez who says that hes willing to fight at the weight and is accustomed to fighting at 154 LBs. Literally what is stopping this fight from happening? Fans talk about this fight way more than they talked about the Ortiz or Mosley fights by far. When asked in an interview if he would be interested in facing Martinez, Floyd responded by saying "Andre Dirrell can fight him". Wow!
He's ducking Pac and Alvarez for a injured old Martinez who's been out of the ring for X amount of months at a weight he hadn’t made in years?
You know that will be the case. However that is the fight I want to see but at MW. I want to see Floyd move up one last time before he retires. Pac at WW, Alvarez at JMW and Martinez at MW would be a good last 3 fights for Floyd in that order.

Are you kiddin me? The general public is not demanding a Martinez fight. Not whatsoever. It's only the nutty diehard boxing fanatics that seem to want that fight. But not the general public who are just casual fans.
The fight that they want is Pacquaio though -- that is a fact. After Pacquaio, next would be Canelo. Even a rematch with Cotto is a bigger draw than a fight with Martinez. Mosley was a draw too by the way. The general public actually is oblivious to ages of fighters unless they are over 40 where it's well publicized. When you say you as boxing fans -- you mean the serious hardcore boxing fans. The casual fans, who really drive up the profits to sky high levels, have no idea about what they really deserve. It's all about popularity for them.

Pac wants mayweather but first he has to do unfinished bizznizz ..another 4 fights against piss drinker than hopefully the "long awaited" rematch against bradley..and of course mayweather would have to sign with drop prank to fight pac because uncle arum doesn't want it any other way
