Why are fans caring about how much MORE money these guys can make off of this stadium? Like seriously.

To feed up Horus and Gino Ros.

Seriously (as in seriously) it may well make the fight.

I just hope both camps drop their egos first and give this circus a fitting end.

But looks like Floyd has a lock on May 5th, and scumbag wanted a later day for more revenue, and both camps appear not to budge.

        Oh well.

Hopefully Arum realizes that he's turning Pacquiao into a joke figure with this nonsense. I, for one, will boycott Manny's next fight, and I consider myself a big fan of his. This showdown with Mayweather must happen now, or it never will.

There is literally no need to budge on the date. None.

How can Arum even say that the stadium will be built by the end of May if he has even met with the builders as of yet.

On top of that even if they get it built what guarantee they will have that the building inspectors are going are going to play into the date.

Too many variables to go wrong in trying to do a stadium this late

Ok you guys gotta understand....Arum is right. The smart thing to do is to put it in a bigger venue put keep it in Vegas. It makes the fight more accessible to the public but you still get your monster gate.

My thing is...it shouldn't be a reason the fight doesn't happen. Floyd is under legal restrictions and it's getting to a point where it's now or never. If you can't build the stadium by May 5th then just bite the bullet, charge out the ass for prices at MGM and still make your record gate.

It's not ideal but the alternative is the fight not taking place at all and that's not good for anyone. Arum needs to swallow his pride.

There is no gaurantee that if the fight doesn't get done now it would be available later. It is still going to be a very profitable stadium or no stadium.

If Arum was true to his word the idea would had been floating from before and it would had been in progress already.

Simply you cannot believe anything Arum says, he is an historic proven liar

                    I assume you're talking about Floyd's stand?

Believe me I get it. Thing is, this is Arum, we know how he loathes Floyd, and will always, always try to be a step ahead of him, to gain control of any situation.

But if more revenue is his other goal apart from dodging Floyd and since Manny wants the fight too, then as a promoter then so be it. It's his job, to fatten his pocket. Too bad for boxing fans tho.

My only gripe is Manny's becoming Arum's b!tch and I can't help but be disappointed.

                    My thoughts exactly.

But Floyd being MONEY, then moving it a different date to accomodate a bigger venue as long as there's more money and won't get into Floyd's jail term, won't hurt, ain't it?

And Arum needing to sacrifice those gate revs just for the fight to be made ain't gonna hurt too.

And I agree this shouldn't be the reason why the fight will be stalled an nth time, but Floyd and Arum won't budge as I see it.
