People forget already that Mayweather called out Pacquaio before the Marquez fight.

Good point, and Mayweather agreed to all terms back in 2009, Pacquiao was the guy who walked away from the table.

But technically Billy is correct, because Manny looked awful when he was beaten by Marquez back in 2008

Everyone knows Mayweather is bluffing, why waste time, when pacman signs, May will find another excuse to back out of a fight, nothing new here and everyone is making a big deal out of it.... move on.

The only thing holding up this fight is Arum's insistence that the fight take place in the new stadium. May 5th has been the date since last November and Arum refused to accept it.

Arum refuses to make the fight because he knows Manny gets beat and there goes his cash cow.

Pac fans are saying Floyd is trying to dictate the date, but it's Arum who's trying to dictate his date.

Funny Pac fans, but Manny has said nothing. He's sat back and let Arum make all those excuses.

All Manny has to say is he accepts the fight. It's that simple -- just accept the fight, but he's scared to do so.

Answer me this Pac fans, why doesn't Manny agree to fight Floyd on May 5th and tell Arum to go to hell?

My guess is that no one on these Pac vs Floyd threads has every negotiated a contract in their lives! Calling either one of these very good boxers "afraid" only makes the accusers sound like fools. Both of these young man could fight in any era, Floyd would need to step forward more often if he fought in the 40s thru the 50s because counter moves and counter punching simply would not "pay" well enough as a style. To degrade their talents by calling them names or suggesting ethnic insults serves no purpose other than allowing people to see and hear ingnorances. Theres a reason beyond match ups why boxing has fallen in popularity and some of that blame stems from its fans not understanding that the business is more difficult than the actual fight.
In modern times one lose can effect a fighters earning power dramaticly, in the past if beaten by a quality fighter it was NOT a big deal. If a great effort was given and the results were not in your favor you were hailed as a fighter who came prepared and held nothing back. Now a days all the fans (people on these threads) are all front runners and don't have a clue how contracts are developed. The promoters are the managers and some times are the fighters!!!
Put a controlling body in place and all the yaking from camps and fans is done and over with. Every 15 months a champ defends against the number one man, Done! After 2 successfull defenses the champ gets a 22 month release to fight who he wants too and its his choice to put the title up or not. Years ago you had non title fights for champs to do and gave them and other top 20 fighters a chance to go fight without the business end being a pain in the butt. The fans (you people) loved it!! Stop calling names like lil girls and go ahead and blast the promoters, if their eliminated or atleast in favor of supporting good boxing ethics the fight would have been fought 2 years ago. To refer to either of these fighters as a "afraid" that only tells me that the folks on these threads have doubtfully ever participated in pro fights. Yep, I agree, the promoter Arum is at fault, so it is pointless calling any particular fighter a coward.

FACT: Arum works for Pac
FACT: Arum dont want none of Mayweather
FACT: Pac is going along with his promoter
FACT: so obviously, Pac dont want none of Mayweather

So, I am not calling Pac a coward, I am saying that for some strange reason, he dont want none of Mayweather. Go figure.

Can you explain to me why Pac will not grow some balls and DEMAND that Arum make that fight?
