Bob Arum's cash cow is in jeopardy and they are looking for ways to milk him before he loses his worth. lol They know floyd gonna whoop manny's ass. Manny lost to marquez in the last fight and it was questionable about the decision on the fight before that. floyd went on a 2yr layoff and came back faced marquez as a tune up fight and schooled him for 12 rds at a score of 120-108. *******s keep ur heads up lmao

They saw what Marquez did to Manny so the possibility of a Floyd fight has them absolutely terrified. I had the feeling Floyd didn't want this fight two years ago but now I'm positive that Manny's camp doesn't want this fight. Even China knows what's up if you guys saw that hilarious video!
I can see your point, and to a certain extent I can understand why..... but nope, I would have to disagree on the whole.

There has only ever been one official negotiation, and that took place back in Dec 2009.

Pac definitely killed the fight in 2009, no question, when he "walked away from the table" (Arum's words) and refused to undertake random blood tests without a 24-day cutoff.....
The biggest fight in boxing is now on the table. Manny Pacquiao dominated Joshua Clottey over twelve rounds at Cowboys Stadium in March. Floyd Mayweather Jr. dominated Shane Mosley on Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. There are two issues at hand, the issue of money and the random Olympic-style drug testing. The two sides sat down earlier this year and the two fighters could not agree on the cut-off date for the random drug testing. Following the win over Mosley, Mayweather said the Pacquiao could not be made without the random drug testing being involved.

The " second " negotiation story, was just that. That issue has been debated to death, and I can no longer be bothered, so we may just have to disagree on that one.

I disagree with your thoughts that the loss to Marquez may have spooked Team Pacquiao, because they have shown no interest whatsoever in Mayweather since Dec 2009..... case in point, Bob Arum's "deadline" scam, which was purely to obtain funding and a date for the Margarito fight, and the ridiculous scenario that has played out over the last couple of weeks.

I do agree that Marquez threw a spanner in the works, but largely..... nothing has changed.

Some people will tell you the truth..... some people will tell you what they think you want to hear..... Bob Arum will tell you what he wants you to think.

If Manny would want to fight, then he would accept. Especially if he's so sure to whoop Flloyd... Make it happen, what's to lose? Judging by the looks of it right now, he's already losing big.

Get real Pac fans, here's a legit to fight Flloyd, why is Pac NOT accepting?

How could Arum sell a Manny fight in June if Floyd is forced to fight somebody else in May? Wouldn't Manny look weak and pitiful?

Moreover, what happens if Floyd dominates his opponent (Canelo) and Manny gets beat?

Arum would look like a fool to Manny fans (but he would have the victor under contract. For instance, say Pac fights Bradley and Bradley wins. Couldn't you see Arum screaming for a Bradley-Mayweather fight. Manny would be a thing of the past, and Arum would focus only on Bradley.

              Think about it Pac fans.

Even if they make it now to save face, floyd must be smelling the blood in the water at this point. By this i mean Manny's reluctance to fight him, which he will perceive as mental weakness. He will have a field day with the trash talk.

                  Other great quotes from Mayweather:

                  "I don't need Pacquiao"

"If he wants a rematch, he can get a rematch"

                  Go to jail *****.

Yeah, but the problem is Arum knows this and thinks he can get three fights out of Manny if he does not fight Floyd. I think Arum knows Floyd beats Manny pretty easily. And then that's it -- Manny retires. He doesn't fight anymore if Floyd beats him.
