Almost all neutrals blamed both fighters until now - only die-hard Floyd fans like you exclusively blamed Pac. But in the last month and particularly the last few days it's been completely different. No one but an out and out Pac worshipper could deny now that the blame for the fight not being signed is 100% Arum's and Pac's and 0% Floyd's. All rational Pacquiao fans, including the vast majority of Pinoys now accept that fact.

Nothing needed to be more clear than in 2009 when Pac walked away after giving multiple excuses as to why he didn't agree. That was 2009, nothing changed in 2010 or 2011. Nothing has changed now either. Bob Arum NEVER wanted the fight. I WAS a die hard pac fan up until he fought Daiz. Since then its been down hill and in the last few years he has been complete shyt.

I'm not even THAT big of a Floyd fan as you would think. I just can't wait to see Pac beaten by him and see what I said would happen for years now. Its more of a I knew I was right and can't wait to see it happen. Of course I can't wait till all the *******s are gone too. You know damn well those idiots will leave. Knowing Arum's HUGE ego, he will respond to the media quickly. The only thing he needs to say is that A) his people are now speaking to Mayweather or B) that May 5th will work. Anything other than that is a joke. Mayweather's people guarantee his cut. Arum has said late May makes more money but that does NOT mean Arum cannot accept May 5th and still make a ton of money.

Most people including me not only didn't blame him for walking out in 2009 but actually predicted in advance that he'd walk out. 99% of boxing journalists blamed Mayweather as much as Pac for the fight not happening until now, whether you like it or not. That's all changed in the last month. No one with any credibility is blaming anyone but Arum/Pac any more.

Pac's been ducking since 2009 when he fought an in house loser named Clottey, followed by a span of in house losers up until he wanted to fight a LW at WW like Floyd did (also back in 2009).

Then again, it's never been about fighting the best or fighting Floyd. They wanted to "out do" Floyd.

Golden Boy booked the venue which makes them the lead promoter and hold the contract with venue as well as TV rights.

If Floyd and GB are serious about 50-50 and co-promoting this fairly for both sides, how is the May 5th date non-negotiable?

This is all about CONTROL.

That's why Bob Arum wanted to atleast negotiate to change the date.
