I think Mayweather is gravely mistaken if he thinks Bob Arum is going to stop lying merely because he's been caught red-handed in a string of absurd excuses and lies. Why would Arum stop lying when his puppet has an army of delusional lunatics that are willing to believe anything Bob says as long as it bashes Mayweather? This is why Bob and Manny's fans get along so well, Arum loves to be deceptive and the "fans" are more than happy to be deceived.

In Pacquiao land reality is optional and truth is nearly nonexistent....

Couldn't of said it better myself, but it is important that Mayweather proves to his fan base that he is sincere in giving us what we want before moving on to plan B, he knows we would not support his next fight.

Mayweather putting his foot down on a May 5th date means he's not serious about the fight happening

Golden Boy booked the venue which makes them the lead promoter and hold the contract with venue as well as TV rights.

If Floyd and GB are serious about 50-50 and co-promoting this fairly for both sides, how is the May 5th date non-negotiable?

This is all about CONTROL.

That's why Bob Arum wanted to atleast negotiate to change the date.

Outdoor stadium needs until the end of May, Floyd has no one to guarantee his purse, Manny's cut will heal by the end of the world, Floyd has no one representing him.

All of the above excuses to not make the fight, have come from one side and one side only.
