All *****s do is attack people they don't like. Not one bit of appreciation. If Floyd earns a lot of cash by picking easy prey, they wet their panties in a bunch and say it was a dangerous opponent. If Floyd avoids an opponent, they say there was no sense fighting him because he is not a draw. Boxing is first is business then a sport as the *****s say.has anybody noticed that most of the posters attacking Arum are just recent comers on the site, with no records of any kind of good posting???from the crazies.
I think that the Mayweather groupies club agreed to do this and barrage Arum to make him as uncomfortable as possible, all the time knowing that he will do what he thinks is in the best interests of his fighters, regardless of all the dribble
If they hear Arum wanting to earn more, they call him a scumbag, liar and thief. Arum may be greedy but he takes care of his fighters well and compensate them properly.Comment

Lol so if you were Mayweather's camp and promoter, would you have made those fights? No, because it's a smart business move not to, why risk it when you can make money on almost guaranteed victories. It's exactly like how Pacquiao, Arum, and company are now with the Money fight. They know everyone wants it, but they aren't going to do it because it isn't a smart business move to put the cash cow of the promotion up for potential slaughter.
Instead of focusing on Floyd's actions outside the ring, worry about his boxing and style in it. That's the reason Arum isn't interested in the fight, because he knows Money is that damn good. You can talk all you want but in the end the facts don't lie, and Top Rank is ducking this fight once again. Or, to put it kindly, making the smart business move!Comment

Lol he is trying what more can he do? He has called out Pacquiao repeatedly and is practically begging for the fight at this point. Manny is Arum's hand-puppet, thats the only reason this fight didn't happen two years ago and everyone knows it.Comment

[QUOTE=ChewLeather;11676029]As much as I hate Arum, but that guy is a genius in filling up stadiums and making money. It's not crazy, he will make a way to profit out of those 25,000 tickets. A fight this magnitude requires MORE seats as many should witness a fight as rare as this.
I'm not saying he won't fill the stadium, I'm just saying a "thousand a pop" for "nose-bleed seats" is asking a lot, even with a favorable configuration of the seats.Comment

First, Mayweather can announce his representative for negotiations instead of barking behind a digital fence to save face. That is what the other side is asking for. It isn't much to ask for.Comment

Arum says they are ready to go, yet he hasn't made any attempt to talk to anyone from the Mayweather camp to negotiate terms of a fight and the one time they tried to contact him in November, he refused to negotiate. He also tells the WBO president that Pacquaio will fight again in June, in spite off the fact that he claims he wants Mayweather/Pac to take place in late May.Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum, who recently returned from a trip to the Philippines, spoke to BoxingScene.com about the latest developments, regarding a possible deal being reached for a welterweight mega-fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr.

The sad part of this ridiculous PR job by BoxingScene is that all the *******s will believe everything Arum is saying. How the hell can you say "we are ready to go" when you haven't had one conversation with the representatives from the other side? I guess it is possible with Arum since he didn't have a single conversation with anyone from Mayweather's camp in the "alleged" second negotiation, but publicly gave Mayweather a "deadline" to accept terms of a fight which was never negotiated.
Boxing Scene is helping Arum to pull the wool over the eyes of the dumb and gullible. Fortunately, most of the others who cover boxing are finally starting to see the light and calling him out on this constant parade of B.S.Comment

Bob has Floyd's number. Why doesn't he give Floyd a call and ask who's representing him?
Hell, if he can fly to the Philippines to meet with Manny, he can fly to Vegas and meet with Floyd to negotiate.Comment
