cotto has said he can still make 147...i wouldn't mind seeing how he does without the 145 catchweight and having an ACTUAL TRAINER in his corner.
even if its a 1 sided match between pac vs floyd WE the world still wants to see it!! who the hell want to see cotto get spank again?? lets all be real here, cotto is not a new improved cotto. u really think at this point in cotto's career after what he's been through, u really believe its a new cotto after the marg 2 fight? LOL!

The first fight was not competitive or controversial it was a one sided affair more or less from start to finish.

Why on earth would anyone seriously want to see it again? It was more than concussive first time around please explain?

Exactly he's basically saying he wants to see one almost guaranteed one sided fight over one potentially one sided fight (which happens to be the biggest fight possible in the sport).

nothing to do with a new cotto, but an old pacquiao. pacquiao is on the downslide. it's just my opinion but i think the catchweight played a huge part in the first fight with cotto. pacquiao won't pressure him the same way margarito did. if cotto uses smart movement and counterpunching i could see him winning. that guy he had training him last time was an amateur and didn't help cotto's cause either.

and i'm not saying i prefer this fight over any other match-up. i just wouldn't have that much of a problem with it. i dont think pacquiao wants to fight mayweather, so i'm taking that fight out of the equation. it's fantasy to me.

Some fair points, but i maintain my own on this.

I genuinely feel Cotto would be much better 2nd time round, particularly with the extra 5lbs. Manny hasn’t looked too good SINCE the original Cotto fight, indeed in stark comparison to Cotto who has soared since his November 2009 defeat.

The distance between each of them has narrowed and i can’t see how this would be a bad fight – much better than Pacman vs Mayweather, or Cotto vs Mayweather for that matter.

                  Hold the fight at MSG
Make it a genuine WW fight

You’ve got the recipe for fireworks. I’d still pick Manny to win, but i wouldnt be exactly confident of my prediction

so u want to see this match up again because u believe pac is on the decline?? why would u want to see this then?? at any weight i guarantee cotto will not win.. im not saying he's not a god fighter but we saw what happen in their first match up and dont use the weight drain excuses. cotto can use his movements but he's not fast enough for pac. once he gets tag with pac's 3-4 punch combo's its back to the same cotto. just like the first match up, cotto was fighting smart in the early rounds until he got tagged. cotto looked good against marg because that was marg.. i bet u cotto will not look like that against pac.

of pacquiao's list of opponents, yes i would choose this match. i have no interest in seeing him fight peterson or bradley. i feel that marquez beat him in all 3 fights and has nothing left to prove. i say give cotto his shot at revenge. and if the weight drain isnt an excuse, why did pacquiao need the catchweight to begin with?
