i haven't completely been up to date with cotto but man i'm confused about this. i've heard different things about this situation,

cotto said after the margs fight that he will stay "loyal" to arum but then again i heard somewhere that he said he wouldn't let anything get in the way of getting a mayweather fight done, if it comes up.
imo arum doesn't want to negotiate with mayweather. if it isn't manny, it isn't any of his other fighters. so that right there kind of makes me think that mayweather/cotto isn't possible, even though cotto is a free agent like people have been saying.

so is mayweather/cotto possible even though cotto said he'll stay with arum?

Cotto wants the biggest money fight, but he is actually itching to fight Canelo just to shut people up. Mayweather is probably #1 in his list, but that he cant control, because of the possibility of Manny-Floyd happening.

Well you maybe right, but atleast Canelo can draw, Chavez jr being paying opponents peanuts(I just read that rubio got **** money for the fight).
