Imagine a guy like Mayweather fighting in the same era as Leonard, Hagler, Hearns and Duran.

The latter 4 would all fight each other, win, lose and retire as legends and the former would retire as an undefeated laughingstock.

And if Pacquiao had fought in that era, he wouldn't have fought Leonard because of a cut he suffered 6 months earlier..... he wouldn't have fought Hagler because Marv always picks lousy dates..... no Hearns, *** that, Tommy only fights in ****ty stadiums..... and no Duran either, the guy wasnt a draw so his fights would take too long to promote.

Get fkn real, would any of those guys have used ridiculous excuses like that ?

Bob Arum would have made these fights, easy. They were "Top Rank" fighters like Pacquiao. He would have made so much money.

He will ask OSDT from SRL, Duran, Pryor, Hagler and Hearns. He will bash them in the radio and call them one dimensional.

He will not fight DURAN because he lives in PANAMA. Too far away.

Claiming you're the best fighter in the whole history of the sport yet asking a ONE DIMENSIONAL MIDGET, easy to hit one trick pony just proves the claim was just your own opinion.

I honestly think Floyd would have fought them guys when he was coming up in the lower weights and maybe when he first got to WW but Floyd after the De La Hoya fight. Probably not. When Floyd was coming up in the sport he called out all the best fighters and none of them said anything about fighting him. Even Mosley didn't want to fight Floyd when he was at 135 and Floyd was willing to move up from 130. You guys kill me with just starting to watch boxing in the past few years and hopping on the hating Floyd band wagon. Not saying he would of beaten any of them but he for sure would have fought them. I honestly think Manny Pacquiao would have fought them too but early in his career.

If Roach would have been Pac's trainer he would have waited or looked for something to take advantage of. One thing's for sure is that out of Mayweather and Pac in that era. Floyd career would have lasted longer due to fighting styles. The way Pac fights with no defense and taking hits. Hearns, Hagler, Leonard and Duran would have murdered Manny. Pac ain't even fight the #1 guy in the WW division since he has been there so don't try to act like he would. Floyd has fought more top fighters at WW than Manny and hasn't been as consistent as Pac as of recent. I also honestly think for 40 MIL that ANY fighter other than Pac would have fought for that money. That should not be debated. ALSO Leonard only fought Hagler when he thought he was on his way out. Leonard got Hagler drunk at his restaurant so Marvin could spill the beans about his weaknesses and capabilities.
