hell yea....personally I don't think he can beat Manny or Floyd atm....but he's still sitting good and at the end of the day he'll STILL be one of the most respected fighters of his era....hands down!!....when 147 was the hottest he was in the middle of the fire while Floyd chose to take a water break...lets not forget!!!

Very true man Cotto has definetly earned mad respect in most peoples eyes even though he most likely can't beat Manny or Floyd, just because he was fighting and getting major exposure while Money sat out!

Props to you bro, good post.

No. How it works is..... Manny selects an opponent who is mostly, old, faded, vulnerable, and ripe for the picking..... and then he either weight-drains them, or disadvantages them contractually, for insurance.

Smarten up kid, your boy is a hypejob.

If he wasnt a hypejob, he would have beaten a 38yo midget who was disadvantaged on the scales, and he would at least fight Mayweather.

Pac clearly don't want none of Mayweather, plain and simple.

" So fighting Alphonso Gomez, Antonio Margarito, and Michael Jennings during Floyd's Sabbatical equates to being in the middle of the fire to you..."

I can't seriously think you still support Floyd, after all the cherry picking and "diva-ing" hes done.
Alt-boy, Mayweather got Pac all shook up dude, Manny dont want none.

" step up PUNK " ~ Floyd Mayweather

" uh cuts, dates, venues, investors, promotion, blah, blah..... "

Pac dont want none, he is full-of-****.

The fact is, if Pac fights Mayweather, Marquez, or Bradley..... he loses.

Those 2 lbs meant something. But nobody wanted to acknowledge it.

                    Til' now.

Ok...so...non-weight drained Cotto beats Pac now? Maybe so...

Pac is is a boy band...an overproduced autotuned pop group and Freddie is a bigmouthed, attention-seeking fraud...

Anybody ever picked Pac over Manos de Piedra (Duran) in a fantasy fight is an ignorant fanboy susceptible to rank propaganda.

Btw JMM beat him 3 times.

                    School is now out.

                    Carry on.
                    BEFORE:.....
" oh, 1-2 pounds is nothing, it did not affect Cotto "

                    NOW:.....
" this will be a good fight, because Cotto will be at his natural weight "

And I agree with your other point too, Pac is " The ****e Girls " of boxing, he is an "entertainer" with a manufactured resume'.

The Duran, Moore, Armstrong, comparisons... are nothing but fanboy dribble.

                    Great post man.

The 1st time they fought Cotto tried to act like the bigger man, this time all he has to do is box and move. It's clear as day that Pacman isn't this superfighter that everyone thought.
I agree Bushbaby, but only at 152-154.

Cotto is in a much better position physically, he is in a much better position mentally, he will have a much better camp, he will be much better at 150+, and he will be much more confident.

Pac has been exposed as limited, but it is still very unwise to fight to his strengths. A smarter Cotto gives him problems, although I think that he is being over-rated just a little because of the Margarito result.

                      Margarito was done.

Cotto will not be as disadvantaged as he was in the first fight.

In saying that, there are 3 better opponents for Pacquiao than Cotto, so Manny should be fighting one of them.

Manny cannot fight Cotto above 147, because Martinez will PUNK him so badly...... so I have no interest at all in a Cotto/Pac rematch.
