reserving a may 5th date at the mgm grand does'nt mean he was serious about a pac fight....remebr it was between canelo and guerrero who were the frontrunners as his opponent...the may 5th was all set even before they could talk to team pacqauio.....

yes , it would be but they did'nt....and asumming top rank would say no is not a proof floyd is being serious this time either..remember, todd debuff ( top rank president ) said he'd love for team floyd to contact him about a possible fight since they wont talk to arum....has floyd and his team done that?...NO..

More like Bob's excuses for 2 years. They have been riding Mayweather's name for fame all this time. Notice everything pacquiao said he will do to make this fight happen he has so far gone against it?
1. I will fight Mayweather anywhere and anytime - He turned down the May 5th date at MGM Grand.

2. I will accept the smaller purse - I will only fight mayweather if he agree to 50:50 split

I think they do have faith in Manny. My assumption is that Arum does not want Floyd to benefit financially from fighting ANY Top Rank fighters, especially his bread-winner. In any case, Im still hoping for an agreement on May 5th. Considering all the chatter lately, Mayweathers camp has been quiet the last couple days. Maybe a good sign? We will all know in a few days.
